Miboheme took its first steps in 2016 when its founder, Emilia Alfaro, became interested in footwear in general and espadrilles in particular.
Born into a family dedicated to the world of fashion—the Alfaro brand has been dressing Spanish women since 1926—she was very clear that, if she were to expand her company, she would leave the footwear manufacturing in the hands of a select team of artisans who experienced the process just as she did.
In 2018, he decided to give the brand a new lease on life, with the goal of producing a product made in Spain with a national identity. This idea led him to focus on the espadrille, the perfect candidate to become Miboheme's signature.

Craftsmanship is the new luxury
The Olivia Espiga and Olivia Nude would become their signature models. With an impeccable cut, esparto grass, and the use of fabric and suede, they have become best-sellers year after year.
As a new feature, she presented her first belt collection in 2020. This year, she launched an exclusive bridal collection and the option to design your own espadrille.
“I was very clear that I would leave the shoemaking in the hands of a select team of artisans who experienced the process just as I did.”
Drawing on the boho style, hence its name, Miboheme grows day by day, thinking of women who live and feel very differently but seek a common goal: a basic that will last a lifetime and always be with them. Among its next goals is to break into New York. An ambitious but not impossible challenge, considering that in just two years the brand has expanded to countries such as France, South Africa, and Mexico.
Each of our products is handcrafted through a meticulous process carried out by our team of artisans.
